Can we take our dog in the Park?
Danfoss Universe is a dog-free park. Seeing-eye dogs are, of course, welcome.
Are the activities mostly indoors or outdoors?
Danfoss Universe is a year-round park with an equal portion of indoor and outdoor activities. It is, however, a good idea to listen to the weather report and dress accordingly.
Which day is the best day to visit so that you don’t have to stand in line?
We can never guarantee that there won’t be a line at the main entrance or at the attractions. During the main season, there are often fewer people on Saturday due to the changing of occupancy at the rented summer cottages. If you come as a group, it is a good idea to order your tickets via Booking before you come. It expedites service.
Do you have 2-day tickets?
We do not have a 2-day ticket, but if you plan to visit the Park more than once, it is a good idea to buy a season pass. With a season pass, you save money when you visit us a second time.
Can you borrow a wheelchair?
We have a wheelchair that can be used free of charge. If you need a wheelchair for your visit, please call Booking and hear about your possibilities.
Is there free entrance, if you are escorting a handicapped person?
Yes, but please remember to bring the card that identifies you as the escort.
Is it possible to get around in the Park in a wheelchair?
Danfoss Universe is handicap-friendly and most of the Park and exhibits are easily accessible.
What is your target group?
Our Park has something to offer to young and old alike – but many of the attractions are for children and teenagers between the ages of 8 – 15 and their families. Our beautiful gardens and the two museums are very popular among the older generation.
How old must you be to ride on a Segway?
You must be 10 years old and weigh at least 35 kg. The weight limit at the other end of the scale is 117 kg. These rules have been set for security reasons. A Segway demands coordination and balance proficiency as well as a certain weight to be able to steer it.
Once we have paid at the main entrance, does it cost extra elsewhere in the Park?
All activities and events are at no added expense except for Make it and LEGO MINDSTORMS. In Make it, it only costs money if you decide to “print” your creation. LEGO MINDSTORMS costs 3,50 € (25 kroner).
Where are the closest overnight facilities?
Nordals Idrætscenter – hotel and fitness center, Stadion Vej 1, Nordborg.

Is smoking in the park allowed?
You can smoke on the Café terrace and the Food Factory’s terrace. The rest of the park is a smoke-free area.
Can you bring your own food to the Park?
Yes, you can enjoy your own picnic lunch in our picnic area. We have outdoor picnic areas by the playground and a covered picnic area in FluidPower. Behind Cumulus, you can barbecue.
Remember to bring grill and meat.
Can you drink alcohol in the Park?
You can drink beer and wine in the Park. Intoxicated guests are not allowed in the Park.
Can you go out to your car and get something?
Yes – but remember your ticket so that you can come back into the Park.
Can you bring your own skates?
You can bring your own skates or borrow skates free of charge at Danfoss Universe. Skates with saw blades cannot be used as they will ruin the skating rink’s surface.
Can you throw a party at Danfoss Universe?

Can you rent a wagon?
At Danfoss Universe, you can borrow a wagon or stroller free of charge.
